Home-based Consultancy
The Behaviour Bases utilises standardised assessment tools along with direct observation and parent/school input when creating interventions and programme targets.

Dependent on your childs needs, programmes may focus on one or several areas of skill development, including but not limited to: Communication and Language, Social skills and interactions, Academic and Learning, Self help and independence. Challenging behaviour and Emotional regulation will also be addressed.
Social Skills Training
The Behaviour Base provides social skills training for children with difficulties in this domain, including conversation skills, perspective taking, body space and awareness, expected and unexpected behaviours and much more.

The training is tailored to children aged between 6 and 18 years old who have social communication deficits and may have an associated ASD diagnosis.

The purpose of social skills training is to teach developmentally appropriate social skills and provide an avenue to teach social thinking so that individuals become aware of social expectations, gain awareness into their behaviour and learn how to modify their behaviour where appropriate.
School-based Consultancy
The Behaviour Base provides a variety of support options in the school setting. We provide advice and/or training to teachers and teaching assistants, separately or as part of home and/or school programmes.
Training focuses on supporting school staff to deal with challenging behaviour and helping them to teach a wide range of adaptive behaviours.
We believe that it is important to form positive collaborative relationships with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Food Programmes
The Behaviour Base creates individualised food programmes
to help increase the nutritional value of your child's meals, and reduce stress around mealtimes for your child and your family.
Food programmes are designed to expand the food repertoires of children who show signs of food selectivity.
Food selectivity can be identified by limited variety of foods, limited types of texture, eating only one colour of food, other food-related issues.
Parent Support
The Behaviour Base offers education to parents on a variety of topics, including understanding the principles of behaviour, strategies for managing challenging behaviour, teaching functional communication, and more.
Parent support sessions provide opportunities for parents to gain additional knowledge and learn effective strategies for teaching and interacting with their child.
Research has shown that parent support and education can make a considerable difference to parental stress and confidence as well as improving parent-child relationships.
BCBA Supervision
The Behaviour Base provides supervision and training to those seeking BCBA accreditation.
